The Shefford Methodist church on Ampthill Road by the garage has now opened on Wednesday mornings as a Food Hub for the NEED project.
You do not need to come from Shefford to visit and fetch food from the hub.

Anyone in need can simply come between 9am and 11am and choose food from the tables without any need for referrals.

You will only need to give a first name and say how many are in your household. 
A numbered ticket will be given on entry to keep everyone in the order of arrival.

Food in the Hub consists mainly of 'best before' date items which shops have put out for the Need Project.

In addition, food parcels are dropped off to clients who have been referred by an agency.
Doctors,schools and social workers can do this.
